Date: 30/7/2010 - 10/8/2010
Place: KL
We had just moved into our new place at Casa Subang and things were going great.
That is until...
Just my luck every semester I'm bound to fall ill.
Semester 1: Fever and an inflamed appendix.
Semester 2: Fever and a H1N1 threat.
Semester 3: Food poisoning by Bonnie's cooking and a sprained back
Semester 4: Dengue scare and a sprained back
So, here I am, unfortunately in bed being attended by Ying. She froze wet towels to cool down my temperature.
So no choice. Had to go to University Hospital to screen for dengue. I was so sick that not only did I see a private GP, I actually had to go to the hospital twice for screening cause my fever was spiking and I had all the symptoms, in addition to the horrible pounding feeling at my temples.
Visits to UH is very regular, I might say. However, so were Deepak's visits to hospitals in KL. SDMC, DMC and finally UH.
While Ying and I were waiting for Deepak to get checked, I caught a sight that I just couldn't resist taking.
NO, I'm no pervert.
Butt...LOL...seriously...
AHAHHAHHAHAH!!!!!!
Yes, I've been told that Audrey is mean.
Mom decided to come visit for the weekend sometime in between those dates. Of course the primary reason was to pass me my "very expensive smarties" as she calls my meds.
Guess it was pretty fun.
We went for dinner at The Garden at the Curve.
Absolutely love that place!
Here's mom waiting to be served.
Yes, Ying bonding with my mom is important. I mean, she takes the time and I appreciate that. A lot.
Fake flowers never cease to amaze me. Why can't they put real flowers?
Cheap bastards.
Still, it has pretty good food for a reasonable price.
Hmm....I have no idea when this picture was taken but it is definitely by Ying.
Finally, after a reasonable wait, our food arrived. Mom had some garlic ginger fish which she said was better than she expected it to be.
Here's array of drinks. See if you can guess which belongs to whom. ;)
Ying had some pasta dish. She always seems to have a pasta dish.
ALWAYS!
And my steak was medium-rare and cooked to perfection.
The next day, mom was going back and we had some frozen yogurt at JCo's while waiting for the ever punctual Aeroline. No pun intended. They are really punctual!
I look like a blob!
Need to lose weight!
When Ying took this picture is a mystery but, can you see what she sees?
Ying is weird that way. Ying sees things in other things.
This we found on a wall somewhere.
Indeed they don't have education!
